TBP Friday Faves: Power Snack Bars
The kids and I have been spending a lot of time outside since Spring arrived – and we plan on being outside all Summer long!
Naturally, we’ll need lots of healthy snack foods for fuel. I’ve been searching for easy and nutritious bar recipes that will keep our tummies happy (and our taste buds too).
Here are a few recipes I found and I thought you might like them too:
Vanilla Fig Bars from Elana’s Pantry.
Fig and Pumpkin Seed Snack Bars from Daily Bites.
The Lara Bar-inspired Chocolate Peanut Power Bars from She Let Them Eat Cake.
Mint Chocolate Protein Bars from Cara’s Cravings.
Almond Bars from Joyous Health (make sure you use gluten-free oats).
No-Bake Omega 3 Vegan Snack Bars from Choosing Raw.
And don’t forget you’ll need some litter-less snack packaging! Here are three of my faves:
Reusable snack bags from Etsy
Snack Taxi snack bags
LunchBots
What’s your favorite snack bar?

My kids are no longer little, but my 27-year old son, Archie, is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail (from Mexico to Canada) as we speak. I am one of his “trail angels” sending him re-supply packages about every 10 days. He’s a month into his hike crossing the Mojave Desert right now. These power bar recipes are just what I need. Great timing! Thanks.

Those two are so stinking cute. I wish we could get our kids together some time!! Too bad that whole distance thing is such an issue.

I love the snack ideas you listed! I still carry a ginormous purse just for the sole reason that it always has snacks stashed away in it for our outings. I am going to try some of these here. I need to change it up a little!
