Amy Green
Amy Green, M.Ed., is the best selling author of Simply Sugar & Gluten-Free: 180 Easy & Delicious Recipes You Can Make in 20 Minutes or Less. She has been a guest on Martha Stewart Living Radio, Good Morning Texas, Fox 4 News Dallas, Talk 980 Radio USA, is the Healthy Choices columnist for Easy Eats Magazine, and has been featured in Living Without, Clean Eating Magazine, Reader’s Digest Canada, D Magazine, and The Plano Profile.
Amy started the popular food blog Simply Sugar & Gluten-Free in May 2008 to share her passion for healthy living. She has abstained from refined sugars and wheat since 2004 and, as a result, is maintaining a 60-plus pound weight loss. Over the years, Amy has learned that eating healthier doesn’t equal deprivation.
In 2012, Amy is launching Nourished (with Jen Cafferty), the first gluten-free and allergen-friendly food blogger conference. Attendees will be able to learn and share with along with other professionals in their field.
In addition to owning a small business, Amy teaches local sugar-free, gluten-free cooking classes. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master of Education, both from The Ohio State University. Amy has also studied Baking & Pastry Arts at The Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Education at Collin College and spent many years working both the front and back of the house in restaurants. Previously, Amy taught elementary school and owned one of the premier pet care companies in the North Dallas area. She lives with her husband and four dogs in Dallas, Texas.

Maggie Savage
Maggie has been baking since she was a little girl. She is the founder of SheLetThemEatCake.com. The website was born out of her intense passion for feeding her friends and family nutritious and delicious food.
Her husband was diagnosed with Celiac Disease about 7 years ago and she’s been baking gluten-free since.
In December of 2009 Maggie’s 3 year old son was diagnosed with gluten, dairy, and egg intolerances. Wowsers. That was shocking.
Maggie and her family abstain from gluten, dairy, and eggs due to their food allergies and sensitivities.
Since her husband’s celiac diagnosis in 2005, Maggie has been learning about the importance of whole foods and using food to heal and to maintain a healthy and youthful body.
Maggie has a Bachelor of Education and is currently studying to become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
In the past couple of years Maggie and her family have discovered real food and the power that comes with eating real food.
